Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Client Services Specialist to join our Client Services team. HRT’s Client Services team is responsible for maintaining a robust and efficient trading platform that includes configuring, monitoring, and optimizing our trading as well as handling risk, regulatory, and development tasks in a live trading environment.

As a Client Services Specialist, you will be the primary contact for managing client requests and ensuring a seamless trading day. You will be the first point of contact for clients, and responsible for troubleshooting issues as well as providing feedback on order handling, trading systems etc.

This role requires extremely close teamwork and collaboration with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for technology. 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor order flow from HRT’s clients
  • Respond to external market alerts and outages
  • Interface with clients and other external parties to support trading
  • Support the desk's communication around equity executions protocols
  • Address questions and concerns around fills, orders, or trades in response to client inquiries
  • Act as a liaison between clients and HRT’s internal teams and infrastructure
  • Contribute to rotational team-wide production management coverage 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 2 years supporting a trading desk or in a similar role
  • Understanding of on-exchange, off-exchange, and OTC products
  • Experience supporting trading systems, preferably electronic trading 
  • Series 7/57 certification
  • Experience supporting client-facing business
