The Sr. Benefits Specialist is responsible for performing day-to-day Human Resource related duties to support business objectives while working directly with the Business Leaders and HR Team to accomplish the following HR tasks.

Responsibilities:

Serve as designated front-line point HR member for employee questions regarding policies, practices and programs as well as employee questions regarding payroll and benefits.

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401k, disability insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary plans
  • Knowledge and understanding of ADA regulations, HIPAA and related Federal and State privacy laws and regulations, and guidelines and standards as applicable to a workplace setting
  • Oversee benefits program and enrollments, changes, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate assistance and resolution. Manage benefits invoices and coding in HRIS
  • Manage and lead relationships with benefits vendors, carriers, brokers, and consultants, ensuring effective communication and service delivery
  • Develop and deliver educational materials, presentations, and training sessions to educate employees about their benefits options, coverage levels, and enrollment procedures
  • Lead yearly benefits review to ensure benefits remain compliant, competitive and relevant
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other relevant laws
  • In-depth knowledge of Leave of Absence based on state and federal requirements
  • Maintain employee related databases, key metrics; prepare and analyze reports needed
  • Collaborate with People Team Centers of Excellence, Payroll and HRBP to ensure projects get executed efficiently and accurately.
  • Performs other duties as required

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing day to day Benefits/HR administration
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • ADP WFN experience or other similar HCM products
  • Strong expertise with Excel and other MS and Google Suites
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong Analytical skills. 
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local employment laws.

Compensation Range

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000- $120,000
  • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits 
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
