The role:

We are looking for a driven marketing professional who is eager to lead and help scale our marketing technology department. The Marketing Technologist, Team Lead will work closely with client stakeholders and internal cross-functional colleagues to understand strategic revenue drivers, key performance indicators, and tactical needs while providing sound recommendations that drive measurable value. As a Marketing Technologist, Team Lead, you will be responsible for influencing client decisions and investments to achieve and maximize business results while playing a key role in client retention and satisfaction with Webstacks.

The responsibilities:

  • Build strong, positive relationships with client executives and stakeholders to ensure client confidence in Webstacks’s services and your recommendations specifically
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and group workshops to identify or capture strategic business drivers and key performance indicators which will align and inform revenue initiatives
  • Provide marketing automation, sales enablement, and industry/vertical expertise in identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, and recommending strategies and tactics that are cost effective, meet business objectives, fit the client’s ability to execute, improve the customer experience, and provide a positive return on investment
  • Provide expertise on and demonstrate the functional use of the marketing website and its various business user tools, workflows, and capabilities – plus preferred Webstacks strategic partners, third-party apps, and plugins
  • Structure, contextualize, and proactively present media/marketing and website recommendations to senior client stakeholders in a manner that prompts buy-in and adoption 
  • Turn high-level strategies into executable business and technology roadmaps delivered across multiple releases/phases
  • Collaborate with Webstacks project managers to develop project/retainer delivery plans, applying knowledge of the requirements and past project and client experience to help mitigate risks and prioritize tasks
  • Serve as an active leader and mentor to fellow marketing technology team members

The day-to-day:

  • Interface directly with client stakeholders via Slack, email, phone calls, etc.
  • Create and analyze KPI reports and dashboards to find areas of improvement and opportunities
  • Deeply consider the client’s internal and external influencers that can leveraged for new or existing initiatives 
  • Conduct, and maintain ongoing, audits of marketing initiatives
  • Ideate and document revenue strategies and playbooks for new marketing campaigns  
  • Stay up-to-date on key marketing trends and updates (i.e., Google Core Updates) relating to the client to sustain general expertise and ensure we proactively recommend appropriate campaigns, initiatives and projects
  • Build strong relationship with clients and become a valuable advisor to their businesses
  • Lead and mentor 3-5 Marketing Technologist team members
