We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of European-based engineers working in the Webflow Designer. This person would help our Product Engineering organization achieve ambitious goals while cultivating an environment of excellence, care, and curiosity.

  • The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
    • Ireland  (All figures cited below in EUR and pertain to workers in Ireland)
      • EUR 103 900 - EUR 142 900
    • United Kingdom  (All figures cited below in GBP and pertain to workers in the United Kingdom)
      • Zone A: £103,900 - £142,900
      • Zone B: £93,500 - £128,600

As an Engineering Manager 

  • Lead and manage a diverse, distributed and an agile full-stack team supporting iterative and incremental shipping
  • Oversee scoping and implementation of mission critical Designer features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional  peers such as Product, Design, and Marketing to set goals and define business strategy
  • Drive goal-setting with your team and hold them accountable for results
  • Skillfully balance tech debt and feature development for your team
  • Facilitate the development of the individuals on your team, identifying areas for improvement and helping them to grow

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we'll help you incorporate them into your role.

About you 

You’ll thrive as an Engineering Manager if you:

  • Have 2+ years in a leadership role and 5+ years as a technical individual contributor (front end web technology focus)
  • Have experience managing people and projects across multiple work-streams/teams
  • Aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and problem solve with your team
  • Are comfortable with navigating ambiguity and working autonomously  
  • Have experience managing teams building and operationally supporting SaaS products
  • Have a proven track record of successfully working with Product Management and Design
  • Have the ability to retain and attract strong talent 
  • Bonus: are a builder on the side like having side projects or use no code tools like Webflow, Zapier, and Bubble
