The Marketing Team's mission is to drive Weave's brand recognition as an essential small business solutions provider, impacting our revenue and customer growth. This includes managing our digital and event marketing channels, as well as key relationships with media and industry audiences. Our teams are responsible for how small business owners discover Weave and learn about the value we can provide their business. Our messaging, positioning, campaigns and strategies pave the way for Weave's Sales teams and help us put a stake in the ground as a small business household name. Our in-house teams of creative, content, communications, events and demand generation work collaboratively to bring efficiency and scale to Weave's business. Weave is looking for an experienced, strategic and revenue driven leader to define and execute our field marketing and event strategy. This high-visibility role is responsible for scaling the brand growth, demand and revenue across hundreds of events each year. This role will partner closely with the sales organization to deliver a world-class field marketing experience. This individual should have a strong executive presence and be comfortable presenting to large groups.

This is a hybrid work schedule (remote/in-office) reporting to the CMO. 

What You Will Own

  • Drive pipeline growth through industry specific regional programs and activities, including local sponsorships, advertising, events, business or trade associations, demand generation and the development of strategic market content.
  • Strategic partner to sales leaders, partner/channel leaders, and marketing leadership on key metrics, including marketing performance measurement, budgeting, strategic planning, process definition, and marketing systems and data. 
  • Partner with the analytics team to improve field marketing campaign efficiency in terms of ROI and CAC:LTV. Incorporate attribution best practices to ensure we are investing in the right channels. 
  • Establish clear goals and objectives, monitor and measure the success of ongoing campaigns, events, programs, and joint marketing activities.
  • Mentor and provide growth opportunities for team members. This individual will hire, guide and mentor a team of marketers to complete a unified full funnel strategy that best supports business priorities with valuable and measurable programs.
  • Define what field marketing needs from corporate marketing, product marketing, online growth, marketing operations, and marketing program management to ensure regional sales support.
  • Ensure field marketing adheres to global brand marketing standards, and is aligned to product marketing strategy.
  • Maintain and regularly update field marketing forecasts, projections and actuals.
  • Lead regular training sessions with the sales team to ensure our field marketing strategy and processes are being adhered to and optimized. 
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and partners.

What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job

  • At least 15 years of experience in planning, executing and tracking performance of both large and small scale corporate events. 
  • Experience managing a $12M+ annual budget.
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in orchestrating end-to-end digital marketing plans, including experience in developing data-driven programs that drive demand at events and tradeshows. 
  • Meaningful experience partnering with sales and senior management across the organization.
  • Strong communication skills without a fear of over communication. This role will require effective collaboration and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to empathize with the needs and experiences of healthcare practitioners, office managers and other buyers. 
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, and able to meet deadlines. Comfortable with complex spreadsheets and tracking. 
  • Ideal candidates must be flexible and accustomed to working in a fast paced environment with change. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
