Who are we?

Our team is the first in the world to use autonomous vehicles on public roads using end-to-end deep learning, computer vision and reinforcement learning. Leveraging our multi-national world-class research team, we’re focusing on using less data to learn more intelligent algorithms to bring autonomy for everyone, everywhere. We aim to be the future of self-driving cars, not vehicles that are told how to drive through hand-coded rules and maps, but ones which learn from experience and data.

Where you’ll have an impact

We’re looking for an experienced Reliability Engineer to test our self-driving vehicle and the components that enable it. You’ll be working with the latest hardware developed by our team and others to predict and test for failure modes and offer improvements to the design. The work will range from test planning, developing test infrastructure, executing tests, and doing analysis of the results. You’ll work closely with the hardware designers to understand and improve the design for the mission of autonomous vehicles.

What you’ll bring to Wayve

Essential:

  • 5+ years of hardware testing experience 
  • Experience developing hardware reliability test plans
  • Experience executing reliability test plans and/or working with external test partners 
  • Strong data and failure analysis skills 
  • Strong communication skills with both Hardware peers on design details 
  • MSc or BSc in Engineering (or equivalent)

Desirable:

  • Automotive design and test experience
  • Lab setup and management experience
  • EMI/EMC Testing Experience
  • Scripting Experience
