The End-to-End (E2E) Operations Visibility team develops a vision and implementation model for a standard framework of supply chain events and align ownership from both the supplier AND customer perspective. The team helps the organization use those events to standardize data sets and metrics, create a world class performance measurement review cycle, improve accessibility and documentation of event lineage and tools available, and introduce scalable cross functional tools for variance analysis, reporting, and collaboration.

The End-to-End Operations Visibility team  is looking to add a Manager to our group!  We are looking for a lead who is team-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit. A proven, analytical problem solver who is passionate about data-driven decision making and is comfortable operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment.  As an integral leader in the E2E Operations Visibility team, you will put your stamp on the measurement and execution of a very unique and proprietary network that is disrupting the status quo and redefining an industry.

What you will do:

  • Establish a comprehensive perspective of key supply chain metrics across various key strategic areas, identifying tradeoffs across metrics supported by cost/benefit analysis as well as a prioritized set of inputs which can be acted upon by operations, process, and technology teams
  • Define reporting requirements and work with business intelligence and technology teams to develop visibility solutions for leadership and operators across the supply chain, including real-time flow monitoring and exception alerting
  • Create aggregated dashboards for supply chain leadership to keep a pulse on performance
  • Develop a model to estimate the impact of a specific recommendation while controlling for factors that may introduce noise into the analysis
  • Work with analysts to conduct big data analysis using SQL, R, Python and other software applications
  • Present data with a clear point of view so that insights can be used to help drive business strategy
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on customer and operational priorities
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis and communicate the results of the analysis to the leadership in a clear and comprehensive way

  • Travel ~10%, primarily to other Wayfair locations within the US

What you'll need:

  • 4+ years of progressive logistics and supply chain experience, consulting experience, or experience in an analytical role with desire to learn about logistics and supply chain 
  • Highly analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics or other concentrations with heavy quantitative focus strongly preferred
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including corporate and front-line teams
  • Passionate about solving complex business problems
  • Ability to influence without authority to drive improvement completion
  • Possess strong written and verbal cross-functional communication skills
  • Positive, people-oriented, and enthusiastic
  • Desire to directly manage others 
  • Advanced use of Excel/VBA, Access, SQL.  Experience using R, Python, or other languages also desired
