We are looking for a Product Manager to own and champion best-in-class talent management tools focused on areas such as headcount planning and compensation. Your impact will enable us to fuel our staggering growth by hiring and retaining talented people across the organization. Our team is responsible for supporting all areas within the talent organization, including learning and development, talent acquisition, talent strategy, and talent management, and opportunities for new areas of development and growth abound.

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with key stakeholders and other internal teams, including senior leadership in Talent, Finance, and People Analytics, to identify key business outcomes and develop plans for converting them to scalable technological tools for use inside the organization
  • Develop a deep understanding of user requirements, leveraging data to understand the scope, impact, and priority of initiatives, to drive strategic direction of product roadmap and turn those into well written user stories
  • Work with teams of developers as a Product Owner to drive platform product development and implementation
  • Monitor performance of the team’s initiatives, measure the impact of product enhancements using business and technology objectives and key results (OKR’s) and identify enhancement opportunities
  • Serve as subject matter expert to lead and support cross-functional talent projects, and drive discovery for future initiatives for Wayfair’s talent strategy

What You'll Need

  • You have experience driving results and adding business value, ideally within technical product management, talent/human resources or consulting
  • You have strong analytical skills with experience turning data into actionable insights and innovative results
  • You are a creative problem solver and troubleshooter, relying on both quantitative and qualitative skills
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication and persuasion skills, to speak both to technical partners and business stakeholders
  • You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and aren’t afraid to question the status quo
  • You are able to think strategically and holistically about business outcomes and problems, while also being able to execute tactically and dive into details
  • You have excellent analytical skills, with experience in Excel or SQL
  • You are able to work autonomously with minimal guidance on complex problems
  • Bachelor's degree
