Wayfair’s EU Marketing Team is based in Berlin and owns the customer acquisition and retention activities for our UK and German businesses.

Our Online Display and Video team drives one of our key customer acquisition channels and works with leading online display platforms (e.g., GDN, AppNexus), online video platforms (e.g., Verizon/Yahoo, Facebook), Native Advertising platforms (e.g., Taboola, Outbrain) and pay-per-click ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) to identify and target likely purchasers and serve them with relevant advertising content.

Like all our other marketing channels, we run online-display and video customer acquisition with a clear ROI focus. We take a test-and-learn approach to everything we do and scale winning initiatives quickly, and iterate rapidly to find the winning approach.

We do this by using data to understand customers’ interests and market trends, thinking strategically and leveraging Wayfair’s proprietary data-science methodologies.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and manage a significant share of our advertising spend, focusing on online display, online video, PPC and Native campaigns – drive both strategy and execution co-managing scale and efficiency
  • Partner with leading external display / video advertising platforms to identify new advertising offerings to improve ROAS (e.g., audience segmentation, new methodologies or content types, engaging video concepts, etc.)
  • Partner cross-functionally with other teams in Wayfair, especially our Store Front (Website) Product team to optimize on-site experience and boost customer acquisition and activation rates
  • Analyze campaign efficiency and customer-behavior data to report on existing initiatives
  • Own the end-to-end process of managing such acquisition campaigns: selecting target groups and creative formats, reporting on efficiency and sharing learnings
  • Drive the creative agenda for your channels in cooperation with our in-house team of talented designers and copywriters




 What you need:

  • Significant track record of professional experience in managing and optimizing online display / video / PPC search / Native advertising marketing campaigns, preferably at a leading E-Commerce company;  also open to management consultants from top tier firms looking to move into E-commerce
  • Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment; seasoned in managing demanding timelines, dependencies, communication across teams
  • High degree of comfort with dealing with data, analytics and ambiguity
  • Comfortable with navigating technical intricacies of Online Display, Video and Search (e.g., API integration; tracking pixels, etc.)
  • Highly-comfortable with advanced usage of Excel (prior experience of building sophisticated business models and/or analyses)
  • Knowledge of SQL and R programming language preferred
  • Strong cross functional leadership and persuasion experience
  • Track record of managing high-caliber team(s) in fast-paced environments
  • Bachelors or Masters graduate with strong academic record (preferably in quantitative backgrounds: Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, etc.)
  • Our office language is English, this role doesn’t require German language skills
