Wayfair, the largest online-only retailer of home furnishings and housewares in the United States, has an immediate need for a full time Receptionist in our Bryan Office.  This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to support our growing business. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and planning skills, is detail orientation, and has a high sense of urgency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Wayfair to our employees and guests by holding a high standard of professionalism in all interactions and effectively managing the site’s front desk and lobby area
  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors by greeting and directing interviewees, new hires, vendors, and any other guests
  • Ensure site security by monitoring visitor entry through the front office doors
  • Accept and sign for deliveries and notify the appropriate person of their arrival
  • Make sound decisions with little guidance when presented with changes or obstacles to assigned tasks
  • Accomplish routine responsibilities while actively seeking opportunities for continued site improvement
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional and multi-site network consisting of teams such as site leadership, employee engagement, and workplace services
  • Support site employee engagement activities by helping the administrator organize events, gather materials, and embody the Wayfair culture with friendliness and approachability
  • Prepare meetings, draft agendas, take minutes, and send clearly articulated and relevant notes to appropriate participants

  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Maintain professionalism in face-to-face communication
