Senior Product Manager (m/f) - Payments

We are the Operation Product Management team, an internal product management team that seeks to make things run more efficiently and improve operational processes through the use of technology. We analyze the operations of our business (Customer Service, Outbound Sales, Product Catalog Management, Fulfillment, Transportation and Warehousing) and find opportunities to improve customer experience, improve internal team productivity and reduce costs. Then we work with our engineering teams to build systems to realize those opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the global growth of Wayfair by launching new alternative payment methods that fulfill the needs of customers that are not using credit cards
  • Research the payment needs of our customers, with a particular focus on regional differences and customer segments
  • Optimize the integrations and the end-to-end user experience for existing payment methods
  • Define, monitor, and optimize the main KPIs and operational metrics, gathering and sharing learnings that will guide the work for the team
  • Build scalable and reusable payment components and APIs that other Wayfair teams will be reusing throughout multiple applications and experiences
  • Define the product roadmap, ensuring the team is working on the highest priority problems with the biggest impact for both our customers and for the business
  • Collect and prioritize all the customer feedback to understand, prioritize, and tackle solution to the main pain-points and challenges
  • Build trustful, open relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and payment providers to ensure effective and fast collaboration

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in product management or entrepreneurial experience with strong product involvement. You should be able to tell us how you built products, from the ideation phase until launch, and how your choices solved customer problems and moved specific KPIs
  • Relevant e-commerce experience, with a deep understanding of e-commerce business strategy and metrics
  • Previous experience of working in the payments industry will be an advantage
  • At Wayfair customers always come first. You need to be enthusiastic about our customers, and you know how to get valuable and actionable feedback from them
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English, German is a plus. Strong cross-functional leadership experience
