Head of Business Development - New Business

 

The Head of Business Development will report to the VP of Business Development of the region, and will work closely with the Service Enablers squads in the regions (each region has at least one squad to work closely with big clients). In regions that we still don't have a VP, the Head of Biz Dev will report temporarily to Eduardo Henrique, President of the New Business unit. 

This area will explore opportunities in bundling all our companies tools and products, creating new solutions and finding new business opportunities and businesses models. These are some of the tools we will use (but we can leverage our full portfolio): 

The squads will have their own tech teams and architects that will be able to customize, integrate and also provide feedback to the Product area from their work with the clients. 



Head of Business Development Role: 

In this role, we expect that you: 

- Influence the Sales organization to present new offers and bundles to clients 

- Train Sales teams to identify new opportunities in clients with New Business solutions

- Create, Test, Validate and Deploy new business models on our New Business solutions 

- Align with New Business Operations tools to facilitate POCs (Proof of Concept) in new clients and build a process to organize this with Sales teams

- Work with the solutions architects, product managers and New Business Operations teams to deploy the solutions in the clients

- Support the main clients after sales, making sure the solutions work and fit with their needs

- Provide feedback to New Business executives on big market opportunities we may have and how to address them.

- Create, test, validate and deploy new business models and bundles leveraging all of Sinch and Wavy's product suite

- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including New Business Operations to coordinate POCs (Proof of Concept) in new clients and build a process to organize this with Sales teams

- Influence the Sales organization to present new offers and bundles to clients 

- Work with the solutions architects, product managers and New Business Operations teams to deploy the solutions in clients

- Support the main clients after sales, making sure the solutions work and fit their needs

- Train Sales teams to identify new opportunities in clients with New Business solutions

- Provide feedbacks to New Business executives on big market opportunities we may have and how to address them

- You will play an important role on discussing and shaping the New Business Area strategy and how to solve it's biggest challenges to scale our business

We also expect strong networking with executives from big enterprises and skills to influence Sinch Sales teams to collaborate. The candidate must have experience in working in a global company doing business with international clients. Experience in change management is also valuable. 

 

As all Sales/Business organizations, this person needs to present proven result-driven experience in running Sales pipeline, sales funnel. Experience working with SalesForce CRM is a plus.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • You have ‘crossed the chasm’ before. You have experience with bringing new exciting innovative products to a level of adoption by enterprises. 
  • Track record in managing sales 
  • Track record in growing sales in SaaS products
  • Experience in sales across multiple geographies, 
  • Self-starter, thrives on change and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to proactively communicate and build partnerships at all levels, coach and influence senior management
  • Results-oriented and hands-on professional
  • Written and verbal communication skill with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to create relationships with decision makers higher up in the organizations
