Wave is creating a new kind of virtual concert experience. We know that today’s music audience wants to be part of the experience. Wave concerts are live, immersive, interactive and social. We combine cutting-edge gaming and broadcast technology with an interactive concert experience to help fans and artists more deeply connect with each other and express themselves in innovative ways.  

The Growth Marketing Team is responsible for driving traffic, user acquisition, monetization and retention for Wave. The Growth Marketing Manager, Acquisition will manage and execute Wave’s overall user acquisition strategy. As a core member of our Growth Marketing team, you will build and evolve our marketing strategy and acquisition channels. This role will require a highly data driven mindset and someone who has the ability to be adaptive and think creatively.


  • Oversee all user acquisition efforts for Wave, including end-to-end execution of campaigns supporting Wave shows and the broader brand
  • Collaborate cross functionally with product, content, and broader marketing to align on KPIs and key initiatives
  • Define and manage user acquisition marketing budgets working closely with the marketing leadership and executive teams
  • Be constantly testing and trying out channels that include SEM/SEO, Social & Display, Influencers, Affiliate, Podcast, and Partnerships
  • Partner closely and provide input into the product and tech roadmaps to ensure user acquisition efforts are woven into the product experience (e.g first time user experience, data attribution loops, promotional testing)
  • Manage media agency including cross-channel media buying and strategy across Facebook, YouTube, Google and Twitter
  • Create dashboards to allow real time access to KPI against goals across the organization and actionable insights
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership around performance marketing, product marketing, lifecycle marketing, and content & creative marketing
  • Be willing to get hands on with data - analyze trends, design and execute A/B tests, and develop strategic recommendations with goal of always improving performance

Desired Experience, Skills & Personal Qualities:

  • 5+ years of growth or performance marketing experience
  • Experience running campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter 
  • Experience working with and/or managing media and creative agencies
  • Ability to think across platforms and channels to create tailored tactics for each channel
  • Familiarity with the latest ad units, technologies, and methodologies in performance marketing
  • Ability to be self-directed and operate in an entrepreneurial environment that can be ambiguous and continuously evolving
  • Strong oral/written communicator and collaborator
  • Love of music or entertainment preferred
