Wave is the world’s first multi-channel virtual entertainment platform for live concerts. Our platform transforms performers into digital avatars in real-time, casting them onto a virtual stage built with stunning visuals and customized interactions that fit each performer’s unique style. These virtual shows are distributed via YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, as well as other major digital and gaming channels.

As a character technical artist at Wave you will help bring a wide range of virtual performers to life by creating, maintaining and improving their character rigs. Working closely with our senior character technical artist, you will help develop and improve upon our character creation pipeline.

Job Requirements:

  • Portfolio showing strong character rigging abilities and knowledge

  • Experience rigging characters for real-time game engines

  • Expertise in Unity character pipelines

  • Excellent technical problem solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Scripting abilities in C#, Python or a relevant language

  • Familiar with motion capture technology, mechanim, IK
