Responsibilities
- Lead the design process and create hi-fidelity mockups for new product features
- Work with small multi-disciplinary teams, engineering and bioinformatics to create elegant solutions to complex design challenges
- Be responsible for the overall usability and design aesthetic of the product
- Plan and conduct UX research to better understand users and their use-cases
- Work with the marketing team to create graphics for promotional material
- Refine the design guidelines around the Watershed brand
Qualifications
- Experience with Figma, Sketch or similar design tool
- Solid understanding of UX fundamentals
- Comfortable with sketching and creating multiple design prototypes
- Good communication skills when explaining design choices and taking feedback well in design critiques
- High attention to detail
- 1+ year's experience in UX design
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction or related design major
