Job Overview
Wargaming is looking for а Frontend/Fullstack Developer (Web team) to work on World of Warships in our brand-new Belgrade office.
World of Warships is the best naval game around, letting you take the command of legendary warships from the period of the 20th century as you battle your way across the open sea with other players.
The Web team is responsible for the development of the Game Portal, forum, various core, and meta-mechanics services, and other game-related web projects.
What will you do?
- Design, implement and maintain frontend-related features with different levels of complexity of architecture, interfaces, and animations.
- Refactor existing code to keep it simple and maintainable, write documentation and tests;
- Participate in code and technical documentation reviews;
- Work on the inner source projects and RnD activities, contribute to the overall development culture;
- Work closely with product and game designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders, and communicate with other teams and departments.
What are we looking for?
- High skills in creating frontend solutions;
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS;
- Experience with Vue, React, or similar frameworks;
- Understanding how typical web service works.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Full-stack development experience (or willing to get it);
- Skills working with Figma;
- Familiar with unit and e2e testing;
- Experience with Docker;
- Practice with other languages: Python, Golang.
