Community Manager, WOWS APAC/Simplified Chinese
Reports To
Regional Community Manager, WoWS APAC
What will you do?

Manage the internal and external stakeholders of the Simplified Chinese communities

Take the lead of all community activities for the Simplified Chinese players
-
Act like a bridge between local and region/global

Plan and execute community initiatives and programs

Provide community feedback to the management and relevant stakeholders

Measure, monitor, and create detailed reports on community sentiment, concerns, and suggestions as well as community engagement performance

Support the global initiatives with regional nuisance to ensure campaigns are impactful and appropriate regionally and locally
-
Drive the daily execution and growth across social, community, and set priorities and do what it takes to achieve the team’s strategic goals

Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to roll out CRM campaigns and engagement plans for new game feature update, product launches, and user events

Research the latest trends and best practices to stay up to date on the industry knowledge
What are we looking for?
-
Native in Simplified Chinese to be able to support Simplified Chinese players
- Fluent in English to work with regional team
-
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
-
At least 5 years in Community Management or in a B2C Marketing or PR role
-
Ability to discern, communicate, and uphold online community guidelines
-
Proficient in social media management tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software

Understand the cultural diversity and difference across the APAC
-
Good judgment and problem-solving skills
What additional skills will help you stand out?

Passionate about games or have a related industry background
-
Exposure to the Greater China region is a plus with insights of the local users
-
Existing user of the Steam gaming platform or at least understand the key features
-
Understand the latest trends in the social landscape of Simplified Chinese users
-
Any professional certification is a bonus, but not necessary
