Job Overview

The Regional Creative Designer for World of Warships APAC has the responsibility to conceptualize and produce graphic designs in line with the game’s objectives and branding. The candidate will need to collaborate on projects with their colleagues and check for quality and consistency.

This role is based in our Singapore or Japan office and may require some travel in future.

Regional Content Manager, APAC, World of Warships

What will you do?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Produce high quality & engaging designs across print and digital collateral

  • Creative thinking and copywriting

  • Basic understanding of branding, web design and social media

  • Interpreting the task’s need and develop a concept or solution to suit its objectives

  • Work closely with Content team, Community team, Product team and sometimes external partners (Collaboration)

  • Perform any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities assigned

What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals such as typography, colour theory, layout, and other means of visual communication for creating visually appealing designs

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc)

  • Ability to adapt design style to suit local audience

  • Team player with a high level of self-organization, time management skills and ability to collaborate

  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships (eg. Product Management, Community, Global stakeholders) to collaborate closely

  • Ability to propose both short and long-term solutions and work in a fast-paced changing environment

  • Respect, understands, and value individual differences to champion diversity and achieve the vision of Wargaming

  • Open minded – willing to enjoy & dive into game and market that is not your favorite

  • Must provide an portfolio

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Tertiary education in Multimedia Design or relevant disciplines

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

  • Experience working in relevant gaming, anime, media, and lifestyle entertainment companies for APAC market

  • Familiarity with Wargaming products

  • Familiarity with any Asian culture and festivity would be an added advantage

  • Proficiency in other Asian language is a plus
