Position Overview
As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Instructor, you will play a critical role in delivering live classroom training sessions to a wide range of clients, including finance professionals and students. In this role, you will:
- Teach practical finance and FP&A concepts, helping participants build the skills needed to excel in their careers.
- Enhance your public speaking and presentation abilities while establishing yourself as a thought leader in finance.
- Expand your professional network across the financial services industry and Corporate America.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate FP&A classroom training sessions for undergraduate business schools, MBA programs, financial institutions, and corporate clients.
- Complete WSP’s Train-the-Trainer Program, a professional development initiative for new instructors, within 4-6 weeks of onboarding.
Requirements
- Professional Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A at a financial services firm or Fortune 500 company.
- 2-3 years of Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
- Education:
- An MBA from a top business school is preferred but not required.
- Skills & Expertise:
- Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge about finance and FP&A.
- Expertise in budgeting and forecasting models.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Adaptive Insights, Host Analytics, Anaplan, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau.
- Availability & Flexibility:
- Ability to conduct at least 30 days of classroom training per year, including weekdays and weekends.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
