Part-Time Senior Photo Stylist

Do you have experience as a product stylist and enjoy working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced studio environment? Do you enjoy keeping up with current interior design styles and trends helping a company with its style relevancy? We are a successful E- Commerce company with an immediate opening for a part-time experienced Photo Stylist to work in our Marketing/Creative department. We are seeking a talented, hard-working and motivated Photo Stylist with meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and pride in their craft.

Ideal candidates will have experience styling home decor in an e-commerce or editorial setting. The ability to balance artistic and e-commerce needs while achieving brand-consistent imagery is essential. Our Photo stylists are responsible for bringing our products to life by prepping rooms with Walker Edison pieces to be shot by photographers for marketing images and videos. They must also be comfortable with balancing many projects and meeting deadlines efficiently.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about following interior design trends with a desire to continue learning. This role requires the ability to work with the Senior Creative Manager, Stylist Manager, and other stylists on creative briefs for marketing shoots and keeping up with changes that partners require of lifestyle product imagery. This role is a part-time, and fully on-site position.

 This is how you can contribute to our success:  

  • Plans and styles rooms based on pieces of furniture that have been assigned weekly.
  • Executes room stylings on time, and up to quality standards.
  • Works collaboratively with our photographers to set up, shoot, and clean up sets.
  • Keeps up with interior design trends to create unique rooms and vignettes.
  • Great communication skills to maintain strong relationships with positions within the studio, as well as across other departments within the organization.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive criticism.
  • Assist with organizing, cleaning, and maintaining studio and props.
  • Help with keeping props current and following design trends.
  • Assist with furniture assembly as needed.

  Qualifications:  

  • Degree in Interior Design preferred, but not required.
  • 2-4 year Experience in photo shoot staging/styling experience.
  • Prior experience working in a studio environment.
  • Have a solid understanding of current and future interior design trends.  
  • Ability to style confidently and quickly in many different interior styles. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other stylists and photographers. 
  • Experience in building creative concepts through mood boards and prop lists.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and image editing software or apps.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to climb ladders and help with physical labor.
  • Excel in fast paced, high energy environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Positive, "always willing to help" attitude.
  • Self-motivated, can work efficiently with little direction.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
