The EDI Support Analyst is responsible for assisting with implementation and operationalization of EDI related data exchanges including EDI map creations and process updates at Walker Edison. The EDI Support Analyst works closely with a team of EDI Support Analyst, and will often interact with sales and operations teams, internal leadership. 

This is how you can contribute to our success:  

  • Import or Export, research and interpret ANSI X12 files coming from various sources. Formats include: 850, 855, 856, 860, 940, 943, 944, 945 and 997.
  • Import or Export, research and interpret EDIFACT message files coming from various sources. Formats include: ORDERS, ORDRSP, ORDCHG, INVOIC, INSDES, DESADV, RECADV and CONTRL
  • Assist EDI Specialists team with data flow integrations for onboarding of new trading partners and optimization of existing connections
  • Perform quality audits of EDI data traded between the company and its trading partners
  • Provide EDI support through first level investigation into reported EDI related issues 
  • Communicate with trading partners to get clarification on EDI document processing issues
  • Manage trading partner mapping settings for products, inventory and shipping methods
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:  

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required
  • Some software development experience preferred 
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant professional experience, including current or previous experience with EDI and use of ANSI X12 EDI transactions, order processing experience in a similar industry
  • Demonstrate knowledge and ability to read ANSI X12 formats such as: 850, 856, 940, 943, 945 and 997
  • Familiarity with EDIFACT message formats and ability to read XML documents.
  • Experience using iPaaS for integration of data flows.  Dell Boomi experience a plus.
  • Recent experience of eCommerce dropship order management transaction flows and related business processes.
  • Some experience and understanding of ERP order management transactions.  Familiarity with NetSuite preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytic skills when problem solving.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications and ability to learn department and job specific software systems.
  • Strong Excel skills including proficiency with Pivot Tables, Vlookup and other custom functions for aggregating, reconciling and analyzing data. 
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize assigned tasks and projects, and change priorities in a positive and effective manner when directed by management.
  • Able to effectively communicate technical concepts with team members and basic business concepts with team members and internal customers.

 Walker Edison offers a hybrid schedule, requiring in office attendance Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and work-from-home, Mondays and Fridays.
