JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the business office, including: welcoming of patients, answering phone calls, scheduling of appointments, and maintaining patient records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- First point of contact when answering phone calls. Address patient requests, concerns and needs in a professional and friendly manner.
- Triage decisions, issues, complaints, requests and forward to Practice Manager when they are not in office.
- Discuss treatment plans, insurance coverage and patient balances with patients.
- Accept and properly record payments made at time of service, via mail and telephone.
- Ensuring all necessary radiographs, paperwork and other needed information is updated and complete prior to patient’s appointment.
- Any other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
1+ years of experience working in a dental office, required
