Who are Wade & Wendy?

Wade & Wendy is an AI-Powered Recruitment Conversation Platform. We deploy automated conversations across the recruiting process to increase engagement, optimize workflows and inform decisions.

Wendy is an AI recruiting chatbot that joins teams to expand their recruiting bandwidth. Her current capabilities include personalized qualifying conversations, profile enrichment, and intelligent filtering. Wendy learns from each engagement, to expand her capabilities over time, becoming a more valuable member of the recruiting organization.

Our team is backed by Slack, ffVC, Randstad and other great VCs, as we bring AI and machine learning to the recruiting/HR space - all in order to make the process of building teams more human.


What's the Role?

We're looking for a builder and master in the world of recruiting: someone who's built a recruiting team or agency from scratch (or knows what it takes to craft a marketplace product from the ground up).

You'll leverage our chat technology to build both sides of Wade, our recruiting marketplace and platform: helping guide job seekers through their search and helping hiring teams find the perfect fit.

The process of building great teams is broken - and as someone in the recruiting space, you know this as well as anyone :) Do you want to fix it?


What will you do?

  • Spearhead the client-facing side of our recruitment marketplace business line
  • Work to find the best technical and product candidates to match with opportunities
  • Work with our technical team to design features for our recruiting/HR software
  • Identify opportunities to leverage our chat technology throughout the recruiting process
  • Develop recruiting and business development processes with scale and automation in mind 


What have you done?

  • Understood the joys and pains of technical recruiting from inside an agency or tech company?
  • Worked in full-desk recruiting: managed both business development and candidate acquisition?
  • Employed novel methods for reaching the most talented people out there (particularly in the tech world); especially with scale in mind?
  • Become fluent in the world of recruiting tools and marketplaces?
