VTS is looking for a People Business Partner to support our Engineering and Product teams. Everyday you will build relationships with the key team and leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution. You will provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, compensation and rewards, employee relations and learning and development.
As part of this role you will recommend, develop, and implement new HR processes as required to grow the business and promote a positive and productive work environment, as well as coordinate with global VTS centers of expertise (e.g., Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Payroll). You will manage the onboarding process to ensure consistency of new hire experience, and conduct employee surveys. You will be able to implement and drive culture initiatives to enhance and maximize employee experience as well as analyze for areas of improvement.
You will provide support to employees and managers to better understand and utilize HR tools, processes and policies, act as an employee advocate, handle employee relations concerns as they arise and manage annual and semi-annual review and promotion process
To thrive in this role you should have the ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects as well as have strong excel, power point, google apps, verbal and written communication skills. You should have knowledge of Employment Standards, Human Rights, Labour Code, and other applicable employment law and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
