Why this role matters

We are currently looking for a Deal Desk Analyst based in Malaysia who will provide direct support & guidance to the Sales Teams in all commercial aspects of deals with existing and prospective customers, including pricing quotations. The candidate will also be responsible for bringing together Sales, Marketing, Operational managers, Product managers, Finance and Legal team members to develop and execute Vonage’s pricing strategy, and facilitate the on-boarding process of customers.

Your contribution will be essential to win deals, increase Vonage market share and grow the revenue stream.

What you'll do

  • Work with Sales Representatives to define pricing proposal (data gathering, margin calculation)
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders (Finance, Carrier, Product) to assess the feasibility of customers’ commercial requests
  • Assist Sales Rep in the implementation of the commercial offer of their deals, including:
  • Ensuring the appropriate approval process has been followed before making any pricing change effective
  • Working closely with the Price Provisioning team to ensure prices are correctly uploaded into our internal tools (create new pricing rules, update existing pricing rules)
  • Liaise with Legal when a contract needs to be issued
  • Provide support to analyse existing customer results and assess the impact of any price changes
  • Explain pricing structure and processes to other teams when queried
  • Support the Deal Desk Manager in transversal projects
