We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead one of our engineering tribes of multiple squads. As a leader in our engineering department, you will be responsible for guiding the teams through the development lifecycle and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. You will also be a key advisor and contributor to the Director of Engineering, helping to continue the transformation of the organisation.

What You Must Have Experience In

  • Some hands-on coding experience
  • Working with Agile methodologies (ideally several)

  • You understand architecture and can take part in discussions
  • You look outside your team responsibilities and try to improve the organisation as a whole

What technical skills are nice to have but not essential

  • At least one of Java, Golang, Kotlin, Python or a similar programming language
  • Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferable)
  • Mapping of platform architectures
  • System design
  • Strong understanding of security best practices
  • Kubernetes or a similar container orchestrator
  • Kafka or similar event bus technology
  • Database architecture
