The successful candidate is passionate about understanding customer needs, motivations, and behavior and enjoys discovering insights that help us deliver better outcomes like revenue growth, better customer experience, customer engagement and customer retention. 

Why this role matters

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst who is able to ask the right questions, understand the commercial logic and apply data and analytics to solve our most pressing problems.  The target business teams for this role are focused on managing the costs of our carrier network and setting prices to strategically improve margins for the company.

What you'll do

  • Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  • Develop insights and strategy to drive revenue growth and margin improvement from customer base
  • Identify the most important questions to answer and the KPIs to monitor
  • Use data mining techniques and analyze core KPI's and generate insight to reach and improve on the target goals
  • Support scalable client engagement strategies that drive profitable growth, engagement and retention
  • Work closely with the rest of the BI & Data team to help make sure the data engineering work being done is well aligned to stakeholder needs
  • Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
  • Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data (e.g. Tableau)
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information  (e.g. Snowflake)
  • Work within a team of analysts and other associates to process information
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
  • Be persistent and work through a variety of technical challenges that will require creativity and close collaboration across internal functions.
  • Earn the respect of your stakeholders and colleagues as a trusted resource for decision-making.

What you'll bring

  • Optimization, Pricing Analytics and/or Machine Learning. 
  • 2+ years of management consulting 
  • Understanding of the b2b cloud communications industry, including but not limited to WebRTC, A2P messaging (Kafka), or VoIP. 
  • Experience with more than one scripting language.
