Why this role matters

As a ​Global Sales Operations Manager, ​you will work to maximize sales force effectiveness and manage functions essential to sales force productivity. These include Salesforce.com Administration (SFDC), planning, reporting, forecasting, quota tracking, sales process optimization, sales compensation administration and more.  This position will report to the Global Sales Operations Senior Director and will foster close working relationships with internal stakeholders to contribute to the sales organization’s efficient operation and success.


What you'll do

  • Act as Salesforce.com (SFDC) Administrator and Super User for the organization  including
    • Manage reporting, analytics and dashboards to report on sales trends and insights
    • Investigating and creating further ways to maximize the use of SFDC, such as – Quotation process, Integration with other BI systems and increasingly sophisticated reporting
    • Implementing SFDC reporting processes including developing reports, dashboards, and analytics around sales forecasting, pipeline and key performance metrics to drive company goals
  • Organizing sales data to support the teams in accurately reporting on sales forecasts, trends, opportunities, wins / losses, and competitive activities in the market
  • Ability to derive insight from SFDC into country specific trends in performance across the the customer buying journey
  • Support with the forecasting collation process, including analysis of changes and position against YTD quota
  • Perform SFDC training and coaching
  • Strong knowledge of SFDC best practices
  • Maintain SFDC data quality and hygiene 
  • Ensure system integrity across all users, application and integrated systems and make recommendations for enhancements to improve efficiency, processes, and reporting
  • Management and implementation of appropriate sales tools
  • Support of a dedicated sales team to drive adoption of new tools and processes that increase selling time, improve sales efficiency, effectiveness and enable them to spend more time in front of customers.
  • Operational execution of key sales processes: Pipeline / Pipeline Generation, Partnering with Marketing and Sales Compensation Design.
  • Performance Reporting and Management (Tableau and other BI reporting tools)
  • Partner with the Regional Sales Leadership to deliver on Targets
  • Build rich and insightful reports, as well as dashboards that measure critical metrics.
  • Assist with sales planning and organization design, including sales quotas, targets, and sales territories
  • Make recommendations based on trends/analyses, market conditions, company direction/KPIs, etc.
  • Develop insights and findings from large data sets to maximize sales team effectiveness.
  • Use customer data (CRM) and automation tools to provide recommendations on target markets for sales initiatives.
  • Design and manage global sales incentive programs.

What's required for application

  • Functional knowledge of SFDC data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements
  • 5+ years progressive experience in Sales/Business Operations, Business Planning and Strategy, in a high growth, fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor degree in business, finance, or related, MBA a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Understanding of enterprise selling processes
  • SFDC professional certifications and experience with related systems, such as Pardot, CPQ, Outreach etc
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives
  • Experience with data query/visualization tools (e.g Tableau)
