The Vonage marketing team is leading the narrative on how software developers and enterprises can reimagine, design, and deploy new communication experiences. We’re comprised of product marketing managers, partner marketing, growth engine experts, and content specialists who are charged with educating the market with what is possible with communications APIs.

 Nexmo, The Vonage API Platform, is looking for a Product Marketing Manager who can help drive our communications platform marketing Go-To-Market strategies to reach new influencers and audiences across the globe. This role owns the end-to-end product marketing for the Voice portfolio including: the Voice API, SIP Trunking, and IP Voice products.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will work across sales, product management, developer relations, content, demand gen, field enablement & strategy, and partner marketing to develop and evangelize Vonage Voice products. You will work closely with the product team to influence product roadmaps, effectively position your products, and drive awareness, adoption, and strategies for the product portfolio. You will also work closely with Sales to fully enable the global team to effectively sell our Voice products.

What you will do

Deeply understand your customer audience and their needs, market dynamics, competitors and product levers to help grow the business.

Develop competitive insights to deliver the right solutions and messaging to the market.

Build and validate value propositions, messaging, and guidance for the field, partners, press, and analysts.

Build content to land a differentiated story to different audiences with compelling business value backed by customer evidence.

Work with field and partner readiness teams to ensure roadmap, value proposition, positioning & messaging is effectively communicated.

Provide feedback into product planning to guide future product roadmaps.

Partner with business planning on business and pricing models for capabilities and products.

Partner with technical product management to deliver the right technical guidance and readiness.

What you will bring

Minimum 3 years of product marketing, technical product management or program management experience.

Highly motivated, results-driven marketer, who has strong storytelling skills, technical aptitude, leadership skills, and business acumen.

Must understand marketing GTM strategies including messaging and positioning to different audiences across the world.

Must be able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously driving them to completion.

Must have experience working and building relationships with 3rd party vendors and partners. 

Must be technically curious to understand product capabilities to effectively market them.

Must  be willing to take the initiative and be agile the ever-changing tech landscape.

Excellent oral and written communications abilities, and strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with technical and business leaders.

What is required for application

·        Required

    • 4+ years of marketing related work experience.
    • Familiarity with the Voice Communication and/or API model and landscape
    • MBA is a plus.
