As a Technical Support Engineer at Vonage, you will provide first-class technical support to our rapidly growing strategic customer base, who are integrating our real-time communication APIs and SDKs.

What You’re Great At
Thoroughly understanding multimedia technologies and protocols such as SIP, WebRTC
Investigating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to IP based network technologies
Communicating effectively (both verbal and written) with our customers and internal stakeholders
Problem solving, having a natural curiosity and demonstrating the ability to learn rapidly
Communicating well with different audiences (developers, technical and non-technical users)
What You’re Good At
Other programming languages: PHP, Python, Ruby, Node
Linux/Unix operating systems
What You Must Have Experience In
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
2+ years as a Developer Support Engineer or a Technical Support Engineer in either the telecommunications or technology sectors
2+ years of API or SDK implementation and/or integration
Qualities About You That Might Make our Decision Easier
Experience with IP-based real-time communications (VoIP, WebRTC, Websockets)
