Account Manager needed to join our team, here at VML Enterprise Solutions.

The opportunity:

At VML Feed Management we specialise in building and optimising shopping feeds to ensure our clients’ products achieve maximum visibility and performance across online marketplaces.

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable account manager to join our dynamic team and serve as a key point of contact for our clients.

As an account manager in feed services, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, resolving client requests and driving growth through expert feed management strategies. You will be responsible for optimising shopping feeds for Google Merchant centre and other shopping channels, such as Meta, affiliate, Pinterest, etc. ensuring the highest level of service and performance. You will also need to be able to mentor and assist the junior members of the team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the clients, managing and nurturing the relationships to ensure client satisfaction and growth.
  • Resolve client queries promptly and efficiently providing expert advice and solutions related to shopping feed management.
  • Actively build, optimise and manipulate data feeds within Feedonomics system.
  • Plan and execute growth strategies for clients, leveraging deep understanding of shopping feed channels.
  • Working with the account director, you will create and manage statements of work, resourcing needs and timelines to ensure delivery against client-approved timings and budget
  • Optimise and manage shopping feeds for GMC, Facebook, Instagram, and other channels.
  • Provide clients with data driven insights (audits) and recommendations to enhance their shopping feeds performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of feed management strategies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve service offering.
  • Manage client campaigns, ensuring they go live in time. Manage a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external to ensure smooth process.
  • Contribute to collaborative team learning and knowledge sharing to strengthen capabilities.

What we want from you:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in shopping data feed management with a strong understanding of Google Merchant Centre and other channels.
  • Excellent client management skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving client queries and issues.
  • Experience in feed optimisation techniques, including keyword optimisation and data accuracy.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with feed management tools, esp. Feedonomics.
  • Familiarity and interest in learning FQL (and other query languages).
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Previous experience in client-facing tole within digital or e-commerce environments.
