Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point person for the FAS team to collect team and user feedback, disseminate internally, and communicate back to field teams.
  • Responsible for territory FAS duties and this includes the typical FAS responsibilities and requirements.  Time will be split approximately 60% traditional FAS duties, and 40% team lead responsibilities.
  • Lead FAS team calls to discuss ongoing cases, customer management, and provide pertinent information and updates from internal teams.
  • Serve as FAS representative for managing user case escalations and CAPAs.
  • Communicate with customer care, operations, manufacturing, and quality assurance to be maintain awareness of any product or shipping issues that may affect FAS operations.
  • Work alongside customer solutions and Apps Dev, serving as field team stakeholder, to create communication channels around field-based activities.
  • In conjunction with internal R&D and applications teams, create training materials for new products and areas of user education.
  • Manage and update existing FAS training materials and processes as new materials are generated.
  • With R&D, product management, and applications development, manage FAS involvement in NPI beta testing.
  • Assist management in allocation of FAS time and resources.
  • Fulfill responsibilities of Sr. Field Applications Scientist, including providing support and training to Key Customers.
  • Structure and organize new hire training and mentor new FAS team members.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in relevant scientific or engineering disciplines is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Must have the desire and qualities for a future FAS team leadership role as Vizgen’s structure evolves.
  • Knowledge of Vizgen’s internal workings and processes as related to Applications Development, R&D, Technical Support, case management and CAPA’s.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with FAS team and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and efficient in meeting deliverables.
  • Ability to think strategically and problem solve creatively.
  • Possess optimism and passion for positive and successful outcomes.
  • Emotional intelligence and open-mindedness desirable for future leadership development.
