Your Role:
Customer Supply Chain Specialists focus on building and strengthening relationships with both internal and external customers to deliver exceptional service. Your key responsibility is managing customer orders, EDI and manual entry, to resolve exceptions so that orders ship and deliver on time and in full. You will leverage your critical thinking skills to proactively identify opportunities and support the implementation of improvement actions, which requires collaboration both internally and externally. Customer Supply Chain Specialists are subject matter experts for their customers.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for day-to-day order management which includes order entry and resolving all exceptions to ensure timely processing of orders to meet cutoffs.
- Support exception management of the order ship to delivery cycle to ensure timely processing of Logistics challenges and customer claims.
- Manage direct relationship with customers as it relates to order management and supply chain to deliver exceptional service that will delight our customers, day in and day out.
- Identify key metric and other supply chain opportunities, and leverage problem solving skills to support the implementation of improvement actions.
- Provide insight as it relates to order management, and other supply chain-related process improvements to drive efficiencies.
- Become subject matter expert as it relates to customer requirements, and responsible for driving internal awareness to reduce fees and fines.
- Work with IT and our external EDI partner to optimize the flow of orders into the ERP system (NetSuite).
- Support customer, supply chain, and other Company projects with confidence.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study
- 2+ years of Consumer Goods or Supply Chain experience or relevant advanced education combination
- Ability to travel 10% for company meetings, team offsites, employee onboarding trips and other business needs
- Prior experience working within an ERP system, preferably NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics365
- Analytical capabilities with the skillset to generate insight from data and expect the unexpected
- Experience in Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization software preferred (i.e., Tableau, Spotfire)
- Strong communication skills with a proven track record of building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
