Reporting to the Director, Global Deal Desk, the Analyst, Global Deal Desk will partner with cross-functional teams throughout Visier’s enterprise, embedded, and product-led deal processes. You will lead deal reviews, approvals and assist in helping to formulate deal structure, as well as ensuring compliance to internal policies.
What you'll be doing...
- Serve as a trusted partner to Sales in for Visier’s B2B SaaS enterprise, embedded, and product-led engagements, focused principally on the contract stages that turn ‘prospects’ into a ‘customers’
- Manage the complete deal process once a deal is sufficiently qualified, through to closing and signature, and removing prospect roadblocks to close
- Perform post-closing contract organization and booking, breakdown, and analysis
- Maintain, negotiate towards, and enforce Visier’s contracts approval matrix, helping guide both internal and external stakeholders to a ‘yes’ in a way that best aligns with Visier’s contracting expectations
- Manage a large number of concurrent review requests.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Product, Information Security and Sales Enablement to ensure up-to-date approval chains, current product pricing and information, internal documented management and learning assistance, and facilitation of communication through to the Sales team as a ‘source of knowledge’ from Visier’s in-field Sales operatives.
- Makes the process of closing transactions smooth, efficient, and easily understandable to a wide audience.
- Assist Sales with deal structuring and pricing options
- Follow and share best practices and provide training for sales teams to increase the sales velocity
What you'll bring to the table...
- Experience in contract management, negotiation, external sales, deal structuring and contract closing
- The ability to communicate flawlessly, negotiate with effect, and navigate across various sophisticated prospect SME groups, including Commercial and Procurement, Information Security, Legal and Data Privacy
- Knowledgeable about technical elements of contract negotiation, including familiarity with negotiated redlines.
- Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple closings, and meeting established goals in a deadline-driven environment
- Eye for detail and ability to escalate issues quickly
- A personality that exudes confidence and expertise, even as you learn; our Sales team will be relying on you to ‘get it right’ each time
