As a key member of the sales team, our Account Executives focus on the most critical parts of our business - our potential and current clients, independent financial advisors. As an account executive, you will be a trusted consultant and advisor by understanding their current business pains and opportunities and guiding them through an evaluation of Vise as both a technology solution and an asset manager. Once a customer, you’ll partner with our relationship managers and customer support team, driving upsells and expansion into their book of business.
A successful candidate will seek to deeply understand the advisor’s practice and advise them on how to best use Vise. This includes communicating our investment methodology, principles of portfolio construction, as well as practice management topics. You will help to maintain relationships and grow new ones, by continuously identifying asset gathering opportunities.
Our office is located in One World Trade in NYC. Our office is open at limited capacity with strict contact tracing and protocols for anyone who chooses to go in. We will continue to be remote-optional until September 30, 2021. We will monitor Covid-19 trends to ensure the safety of our employees.
What you will own
Full-cycle sale from qualification through close & onboarding
Maintenance of a book of business with expectation for high growth and retention
Consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets
Prospecting and qualifying of new leads to maintain a healthy sales pipeline
Closing and onboarding of new clients
Deep understanding of our market & product
Collaboration on sales team & process improvement
What you will bring on Day 1
3-5 years of experience in client-facing roles with a proven track record of success in consultative, solution based sales
Understanding of the independent wealth management industry, with direct sales experience to the RIA community
Experience in inside and outside sales, business development and account management
Outstanding communication, problem solving, time management and organizational skills
Desire to solve complex client problems and operate in a hyper growth environment
High degree of comfort with technology, including Salesforce, Slack, G-Suite, and more
Strong work ethic with a direct, self-assured and company-first mentality
Bachelor's Degree preferred
CFP or CFA preferred, not required
The position will eventually be onsite in NYC, but with current conditions you must have the ability to work remotely.
