Under general supervision from the Warehouse Supervisor, the Inventory Control Specialist performs a variety of duties in receiving hardware, dispatching hardware, and inventory accuracy. Handling, and accounting for inventory stock by maintain inventory database and conducting cycle counts. Accurately maintain work orders, sales orders, and internal movements. Monitor, expedite, and fill product shortages. Have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and vendors; ability to organize items by broad and specific classifications.
Essential Duties
Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; track orders, investigate and reconcile discrepancies.
Perform and maintain cycle counts, record variances and reconciliation.
Responsible for inventory control and consumption of materials and lot numbers to work orders and requests.
Record incoming products, maintain database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
Process and document returns as required following established procedures.
Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, creating bin and labels.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in inventory control or similar discipline.
AA degree in related field required or on the job experience.
Experience with lot or serial number control.
Experience with document control systems.
Experience with multiple warehouses and third-party warehousing.
Other Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of inventory control systems.
Exceptional knowledge of inventory control practices.
Must work well with a team and cross-functionally.
