We are looking for an Account Director to oversee client-facing programs from concept to execution. As Account Director, you will be a respected leader within the organization and an indispensable asset to our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing world class, content driven programs for our clients, whilst driving commercial opportunities and goals forward for Virtue.



  • Passionate leader of integrated business, brand and customer insight to drive transformational marketing strategies and results.

  • Expert in shaping creative that results in impactful, on-target marketing programs, identifying breakthrough ideas while anticipating client perspectives

  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of digital and content marketing

  • Lead new business initiatives and drive programs forward from briefing through to execution

  • Work in lock-step with the Program Management team, overseeing the delivery of the program to ensure it is being delivered as per the scope of work.

  • Actively manage direct reports, providing coaching to drive behavioral changes

  • Consistently identified as a business leader, responsible for account growth and overall revenue

  • Create solid revenue forecasts and maintains regular reporting

  • Creates robust and profitable budgets and deliverable scopes

  • Engenders trust, inspires action and delivers results

  • Coach team members on best practices around internal and external communication, oversee team appraisals and monitor career growth paths for the team.

  • Troubleshoot, solve and/or assist team members in figuring out the root causes for any account related issues.

  • Provide regular updates and escalate issues with proposed solves to the Head of Account Services

  • Foster internal relationships between VICE, Pulse, SWG and Virtue to encourage work share and optimization of all revenue opportunities for the company.

  • In touch with culture, trends, marketing, media and brand landscapes.

  • Owns senior level client relationships and works to contribute strategic value beyond day-to-day operation

  • Ensures account(s) are running smoothly and efficiently both internally with the team and externally with the clients



  • At least 5+ years experience in a client-facing role within a creative and/or media agency preferred. Rights and/or publisher side experience also considered.

  • At least  4+ years of relevant and successful management experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, preferably managing a team with sales/advertising operations functions

  • Proven track record managing full life cycle, key accounts for an organization with multiple touch points

  • Excellent presentation skills and communication skills, including experience with leading strategy sessions

  • Ability to build and maintain solid internal relationships, with a large amount of experience in a client-facing role. Global client experience preferred

  • Demonstrable ability to drive efficiencies through process improvements/automation

  • Excellent analytical/quantitative skills

  • A solutions-oriented attitude. You are a thinker, a mentor, and a motivator. You know how to strike the right balance between getting people to think for themselves, but knowing they are supported during the decision making process.

  • Entrepreneurial by nature. With ability to forecast problems, and provide outside the box thinking

  • You lead by example with a strong work ethic and big personality that inspires the best approach to internal and external communication, all while remaining calm under pressure

  • You are upbeat, fun & positive, with an ear to the floor about what is current in all forms of entertainment and pop culture
