The Role

This is a full-time, in-office-based role located in London. As the sole Desktop Support Specialist in the London office, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the role and make it your own. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functionality of our London office's IT infrastructure. You will provide technical assistance primarily to approximately 75-80 employees locally, as well as assisting in the support of our users globally. While you will receive support and training from our global IT team, including one-on-one sessions with members of our team, the role requires autonomy and the ability to work independently. Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in a Desktop Support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills
  • Experience providing support for Windows Desktops, Microsoft Office, and general application support.
  • Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
  • Good understanding of network concepts and experience troubleshooting networking issues.
  • Availability to work off-hours occasionally, including nights or weekends, to address critical IT issues or perform system maintenance.
  • Ability to provide remote support over the phone and using remote access tools.
  • Good documentation skills and ticket tracking

Desired but not required

  • Experience with Linux client support.
  • Familiarity with Citrix Workspace troubleshooting and management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Authenticator for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) implementation.
  • Experience with client OS deployment using tools such as Microsoft SCCM.

This is a full-time in office base role.
