PRODUCT MANAGER, GROWTH

Virta is an online specialty medical clinic that reverses type 2 diabetes safely and sustainably, without the risks, costs, or side effects of medications or surgery. Our innovations in nutritional biochemistry, data science and digital tools combined with our clinical expertise are shifting the diabetes treatment paradigm from management to reversal. Our mission - to reverse type 2 diabetes in 100 million people by 2025.

We are looking for a talented Growth Product Manager to join our top-notch mission-driven team. If you meet the requirements below, we would love to tell you more about Virta in person.

Requirements:

  • Track record as a growth-focused product manager or marketer
  • Experience growing consumer audiences for web-based products and native mobile apps
  • Knowledgeable about a range of acquisition and engagement channels and tactics (e.g., social, SEO, email, mobile notifications, offline)
  • Experience converting traffic into registered users/leads and beyond
  • Highly analytical and curious about understanding user behavior trends with the end goal of increasing traffic, conversion, and engagement
  • Experience A/B testing at both small and large scales is a plus
  • Willingness to dive in and learn if you’ve never done something before

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in shaping the growth strategy (acquisition, conversion, engagement)
  • Product manage the Virta website, working closely with Marketing, UX Design and Engineering teams on messaging, content, development, and iteration
  • Own the mobile app experience for users who are not current Virta patients (ie conversion funnel)
  • Define, track, and be accountable for growth KPIs

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

  • Create a product roadmap for website and mobile enhancements and execute
  • Take over SEO with the support of expert SEO advisors/consultants as needed
  • Optimize email campaigns across the funnel for multiple audiences
  • Own the social media accounts, working with Content Team to create social media calendar
  • Set up actionable daily, weekly and monthly reports, and use that data to inform priorities  
  • Conduct in-person user research with multiple types of end users
  • Build effective working relationships with Marketing, Content, UX Design and Engineering
  • Develop a plan and roadmap for your second 90 days
