As the Sr. Manager, FP&A, you will provide thought leadership and business partnering to senior executives throughout Virta. You will have the opportunity to be highly involved in the organization’s annual planning, quarterly forecasting processes, as well as supporting a wide range of strategic analysis and decision-making for the group.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet projections.
- Manage the quarterly and annual forecast process for the organization. Identify variances vs. plan and make recommendations to achieve plan goals.
- Play a key role in financial and operational reviews, highlighting risks & opportunities in a constructive way to senior stakeholders with the broader story in mind.
- Prepare presentations and supporting analysis for Executive management to support strategic projects.
- Assist with the re-engineering processes and systems to create efficiencies within business units.
90 Day Plan
Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
- Establish strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders across the organization.
- Help manage the Virta budget and forecasting process.
- Evaluate and help implement new systems as needed.
- Assist on strategic projects as needed, including board materials and fundraising.
Must-Haves
- 7+ years of finance experience, including experience at a leading technology or healthcare company. Experience at a publicly traded company is a plus.
- Deep financial planning and modeling experience – ability to analyze financial data, create financial models, generate financial forecasts and play an important role in driving key business initiatives.
- You are fluent and interested in accounting as well as financial planning and analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to package and present complex analysis and recommendations clearly. Experience in presenting Board level analyses.
- Mastery of Excel and Google Office Suite; experience with NetSuite and planning tools such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights are a plus.
- Undergraduate degree in finance, economics or a quantitative discipline.
