Virta is the first company with a clinically-proven treatment to safely and sustainably reverse type 2 diabetes and other chronic metabolic diseases without the use of medications or surgery. As a member of Virta’s small Enterprise Growth Team, you’ll shape the success of this effort for years to come. You’ll help define and execute patient on-boarding campaigns, both online and offline, that fuel growth. You’ll get to know prospective patient data from every angle, automating and reporting on segmentation, roadblocks and funnel efficiency that are critical to bringing new patients to Virta. A successful person in this role will love keeping an organic and disorganized patient flow under control, be willing to get their hands dirty in different areas, and know how to move quickly to get things done.


  • Advanced Apex Experience
  • Data Modeling in Salesforce
  • Experience with Salesforce REST API including implementation and integration with third party software
  • Experience with source control on the Salesforce Platform (eg: Mavens Mate, Blue Canvas etc)
  • Experience with marketing tool integration (eg: Marketo, Marketing Cloud etc)
  • Experience managing Salesforce installations, supporting managed apps and debugging current automations
  • Experience working within an external permission structure (HIPAA, PCI, etc.) or a willingness to learn
  • Passion for building automations and processes that make people’s jobs easier and provide for 10x scale
  • Nice to Have - Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1


  • Field reporting requests from both business and patient focused stakeholders
  • Integrate with internal Virta systems and WebServices
  • Integrate and maintain third party systems and external tools
  • Work with Ops to automate recurring tasks, both reducing the workload for Ops and streamlining new patient on-boarding
  • Create new and support existing Apex triggers and classes currently in use at Virta Health
  • Maintain and strive for data integrity in Salesforce
  • Help set and drive Salesforce best practices

90 Day Plan

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

  • Work with the enrollment team to streamline workflow for operations team to enable scalable patient enrollment and on-boarding
  • Work with the enterprise success team to streamline medical labs integration
  • Integrate with the data and analytics team help streamline KPIs to retrieve data from Salesforce
  • Take ownership of reporting tasks for current needs and future modification
