Our innovations in nutritional biochemistry, data science and digital tools combined with our clinical expertise are shifting the diabetes treatment paradigm from management to reversal. Our mission - to reverse type 2 diabetes in 100 million people by 2025.

This Marketing Associate will be a critical member of Virta’s commercialization team - their main job will be to get patients in the door, which is Virta’s main focus for 2018! 3. Enthusiastic empathizer and learner: intellectually curious, with sincere desire to understand what it takes to motivate and inform patients paired with an enthusiasm for helping people get healthy
  4. Data-driven analyst: follow the data, rather than feelings, to figure out what marketing tactics are working and what aren’t
  5. Health/Biological science background: degree or significant personal time investment in understanding the health and/or biological sciences

  • 1-5 years of professional experience
  • Highly organized and detail oriented - great proofreader

  • Support ideation, creation, and implementation of new marketing tactics
  • Recommend and create new marketing tactics, channels, and content based on data analysis and patient feedback (intake calls)
  • Perform intake calls for at least the first 6 months to develop a strong understanding of the patient mindset and how to develop marketing strategies that fit their needs

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

Because we do business with the government, we must reach out to, hire, and provide equal opportunity to qualified people with disabilities1. To help us measure how well we are doing, we are asking you to tell us if you have a disability or if you ever had a disability. If you are applying for a job, any answer you give will be kept private and will not be used against you in any way.

If you already work for us, your answer will not be used against you in any way. Because a person may become disabled at any time, we are required to ask all of our employees to update their information every five years. You may voluntarily self-identify as having a disability on this form without fear of any punishment because you did not identify as having a disability earlier.

How do I know if I have a disability?
