Vimeo’s VHX team helps businesses launch their own streaming video service on every platform – “Netflix in a box.” We have built a product loved by our customers, but have only just begun tapping into our potential market. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for communicating the value of the VHX platform to prospective and existing customers and bringing in new sellers, both large and small.

We are searching for a proven marketer with specific experience in creating demand among SMBs and/or enterprise clients through the use of direct response, product marketing, content strategy, and other channels. This role will have a direct impact on our bottom line and the perception of our brand in the marketplace.

The right candidate is team oriented, comfortable working in a high-growth, hands-on environment, and up for a challenge. Strong analytical and organization skills and a ROI driven approach to marketing is required. 

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement the strategic direction of demand generation and direct response programs that will help drive our customer base
  • Own the strategy, plan, and budget that helps us to achieve that goal
  • Lead development of go-to-market strategy and plans for key product launches and partnerships, and work cross-functionally to execute those plans
  • Build clear use cases and personas for our existing and potential clients, and put together sales and marketing materials that are targeted to their needs
  • Work closely with Sales to communicate the value of new features and partnerships
  • Work closely with Sales to develop materials to drive the sales process
  • Measure the performance of marketing programs and campaigns
  • Ensure our marketing creative successfully represents our overall brand and goals
  • Lead, inspire, grow, and manage a growing marketing team

Skills & knowledge you should possess:

  • Strong B2B marketing experience
  • Experience managing, measuring, and driving demand through multiple marketing channels (partner, inbound, outbound, etc)
  • Experience with market and customer segmentation
  • A high level of comfort with data and pulling insights out of that data
  • Self-motivated, a natural problem-solver, and a great communicator
  • Management experience and a track record of building a great team
  • Must be able to maintain high-quality output, lead by example, and demonstrate accountability
