The Director of Business Operations is a vital part of the leadership team for Vimeo’s Business Operations Organization. The team has significant exposure to executive leaders across Vimeo and is accountable for both strategy and successful business execution. You will partner with teams across Vimeo to identify projects to accelerate business momentum while articulating the strategy and business impact to Vimeo’s executive leadership team and the Board. This operational component and ability to directly drive long-term value offers accelerated career growth opportunities.


What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking.
  • Well-rounded interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborate across with team members across varying levels.
  • Self-motivation and willingness to proactively take on leadership roles within a project.
  • Ability to quickly synthesize qualitative and quantitative information, structure a concise and clear presentation of findings, and articulate recommendations to an executive audience.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and deep desire to learn.
  • Analytical orientation, creativity in problem solving, and keen business judgment.
  • High attention to detail, strong project management background, and proven ability to work successfully in a cross-functional environment

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive and execute strategic, cross functional programs and projects such as forecast cycles, goal setting, org roles and responsibilities definitions, and targeted strategic topics
  • Design operating models and rhythms to enable effective decision making and information flow
  • Drive regular op-mechs reviewing business initiative performance, including building content and facilitating meetings
  • Analyze data or work with the Analytics team to validate hypotheses about business challenges and formulate recommended solutions
  • Work closely with a set of cross-functional leaders across Product Management, Design, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and HR
  • Run and facilitate business reviews and planning meetings to improve the way we work together
  • Lead strategy projects and new initiatives end-to-end, with limited guidance, from initial hypotheses to recommendation to operationalization.
  • Create the narratives and drive Board presentations/business reviews to ensure alignment and guide decisions that accelerate our growth.
  • Drive competitive intelligence assessments, identifying risks and opportunities in the broader landscape.
