Vimeo OTT provides an end-to-end solution for video creators, niche programmers, and major media partners to build and distribute premium over-the-top (OTT) video channels (think Netflix in-a-box!). We've launched over five hundred customer-branded subscription channels and apps on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android, and Roku. Our core technology is a React and Rails web app through which creators administer multiple video products and viewers watch and pay for videos.
We’re a team that cares about collaboration, encourages curiosity, and celebrates technical excellence. We continuously ship small improvements to help our creators build thriving businesses. We believe diversity of perspective and experience are key to building great tech and that the best way to iterate towards success is by taking care of ourselves, our users, and one another.
What we’re expecting:
Set an n example for high-quality code and automated tests
Have experience developing within a dynamic web environment (Ruby on Rails, Python, Webpack, PHP, etc)
Have experience mentoring fellow engineers
Prioritize shipping user value and have the agile experience to help our whole team focus on our users
Practice empathy while working across teams - we regularly collaborate with peers on non-technical teams
Technologies you can expect to use:
Ruby on Rails
