We seek an Operations Manager, Trust & Safety, who will help build and manage an international team of first-line responders providing off-North America hours coverage for reviewing content that might violate our Terms of Service.
Build, train, and manage an overseas team of Trust & Safety Operations Specialists who will process takedown notices, spam flags, and other reports of Terms of Service violations
Work closely with the Director of Trust & Safety to define metrics and key performance indicators for the team
Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, escalation advice, and quality control
Consistently find and implement internal process improvements, especially through upgrading our moderation tools
Required Skills & Knowledge:
3 or more years of experience managing an operations team in a cross-functional environment, ideally an overseas team
Familiarity with content moderation, notice-and-takedown frameworks (e.g., DMCA), and legal issues surrounding user-generated content
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and change within a dynamic environment
Superlative problem-solving skills, critical thinking capabilities, and judgment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel overseas for periods of time and participate in voice/video conferences with a team in a different time zone
