Vicarious Surgical is hiring a Senior Manger of Downstream Marketing to join our team in Waltham, MA. This person is responsible for leading a wide range of downstream marketing and business development activities for the new surgical robotic system. Responsibilities will include branding, social communication strategy, KOL development, develop sales collateral and support cross functional teams.
Vicarious Surgical’s novel approach to surgery uses a combination of proprietary, human-like surgical robots and virtual reality to transport surgeons inside the patient when performing minimally invasive surgery.

Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, and brand-consistent stories and experiences that meet brand goals.
- Creatively support the brand narrative through owned social channels.
- Review of written brand materials to align equity & messaging across touchpoints.
- Socially relevant brand story development.
- Public speaking & event integration outreach and program management.
- Collaborate in concept development and design ideation cross-functionally to help define the brand's creative strategy.
- Oversee the formulation of downstream marketing and commercialization strategies while driving tactical execution.
- Develop and drive product marketing plans, including segmentation, competitive strategy, selling strategies, and promotional program development with a metrics-based approach to measure effectiveness of marketing tactics to drive plan refinement.
- Collaborate across business units or divisions to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Company enabling technologies for relevant markets.
- Work closely with Upstream Marketing relative to phase-gate process, product positioning / messaging and forecasting for new product opportunities.
- Develop close, productive relationships with the field sales organizations, regional managers, key opinion leaders, and other physicians to fully understand product performance and customer needs.
- Work strategically with the sales force to create demand, enable sales, increase awareness and drive market share for assigned product responsibilities.
- Gather market intelligence and report on macro market dynamics, competitive information, key procedural trends, and clinical data that would impact our business and shape commercial planning.
About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing.
- Masters Preferred.
- 10+ years experience in marketing communications role, General Surgery is a must.
