The Rakuten Viber B2B Marketing team develops resources, benefits and marketing materials for revenue-generating teams across our suite of solutions: ads, business messages, communities, etc. We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to support our business messaging team and advertiser efforts. You will be responsible for driving growth by increasing brand awareness and generating demand for our products and services and for the execution of creative and marketing materials that help grow revenue. The ideal candidate will have experience with cross-functional roles that require working with multiple teams. We are a small but effective team and looking for a marketing manager who can dive right in and create materials for a global team, has experience in telecom, ad tech or messaging.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote Viber and its services to increase brand awareness and boost sales through content, campaigns and events
  • POC for development of sales and marketing collaterals (e.g. presentations, brochures, white papers, case studies, testimonials, blog posts, etc.)
  • Build and manage a complex marketing content strategy and its execution in collaterals: web page copy, sales collaterals, ad campaigns, email content, and social marketing
  • Website-related tasks: structure (including new pages), content updates, and partner promotion
  • Digital marketing and partner pipeline: demand gen to increase SQL and MQL leads
  • Proactively identify and prioritize partner marketing while managing inbound partnership opportunities
  • Social marketing: selecting key services to promote, news to share, content plan, monthly calendar development, daily execution
  • Manage design-related tasks (with designer’s support)
  • Track, analyze, package up and report results from programs
  • Optimize and refine benefits and strategies based on insights and data
  • Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Events (in cooperation with event manager)

Requirements:

  • University degree. Marketing degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing with at least 1 year in partner, product marketing or channel marketing
  • Marketing generalist with a deep understanding of marketing channels, audience communication, analytics and experience working with partners
  • Strategic thinking, presentation and negotiation skills, and ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills
  • Quick to form relationships and influence others
  • Proven entrepreneurial skills and the ability to pivot quickly
  • Aptitude to work independently and be managed remotely
  • Self-motivator
  • Highly organized with a strong desire to improve processes
  • Experience with two or more of the following: Marketo, Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Splash
  • Fluent English 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • International marketing experience
  • Knowledge of another language
