As a Director of Partner Engineering at Via, you will lead our Partner Engineering teams. They are responsible for ensuring our partner’s ongoing technical needs are met in a timely manner. Our Partner Engineers handle everything from technical configuration changes to deep analyses into systemic partner issues. The team has a diverse range of technical expertise from writing code to fix bugs to algo & mapping knowledge to improve service performance. As the group’s lead, you will manage four teams (15+ Partner Engineers) as we strive to make sure our partners feel supported, their technical concerns addressed and help resolve our most pressing and complex technical challenges.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Minimum of 7 years of software development experience building reliable, user-focused web applications and solving complex technical challenges.
- Proven ability to lead mixed engineering and technical implementation teams, delivering impactful projects and fostering team growth through clear direction
- Mastery over programming and scripting (Python & Bash) for management and automation tasks, such as configuration gathering, upgrades, log-parsing & analysis
- Hands-on experience with different operating systems, specifically Linux, and advanced troubleshooting techniques
- Experience working in Cloud & SaaS environments utilizing AWS, Jenkins, Coralogix, SQL
- Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into high-quality technical solutions.
- Strong communicator and leader, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture that drives collaboration and innovation.
- Adaptable and proactive problem-solver, thriving in dynamic environments and aligning team efforts with evolving company goals.
