As a QA Engineer at Via, you’ll join a QA team, designated to validate the quality of some of Via’s products, and make sure we deliver amazing & amazingly reliable products.
As a QA Engineer at Via, you’ll join a QA team, designated to validate the quality of some of Via’s products, and make sure we deliver amazing & amazingly reliable products.
What You’ll Do:
- Cross-platform manual testing: Android, iOS, Flutter and Web.
- Conduct functional, regression, and usability testing of web-based applications to ensure adherence to design specifications and user requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce and isolate reported defects, providing clear and concise bug reports using appropriate bug tracking systems.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure that identified issues are resolved before software releases.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of test automation opportunities to streamline repetitive testing tasks.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and documentation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Actively participate in team meetings, providing insights, suggestions, and feedback to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the QA team, sharing knowledge and promoting professional growth.
Who You Are:
- At least 4 years of experience with QA methodologies and testing processes.
- Proven expertise in API testing
- Experience with mobile testing
- Excellent communicator with good ability to work collaboratively with others
- Technically minded, with an ability to think out of the box and find solutions for complex testing scenarios
- Investigator and detail-oriented with an ability to see the bigger picture
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meticulously follow test plans and specifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
